Responsibilities:

Analyze data and write articles based on data from two training studies related to early logic and mathematics. The data comes from a study on programming in Swedish preschools and a study on active exploration in infants and magnitude understanding in Paraguay. Data will be collected from eye movement measurements, behavioral observations, and questionnaires.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in psychology or educational science at the time of appointment. Excellent communication skills in Swedish, English, and Spanish (both written and spoken), clarity, precision, conscientiousness, and high social competence are of utmost importance. The ability to work effectively and independently is essential, and the applicant should have good IT skills and experience working in diverse cultural contexts.

Additional merits:

Experience in cultural studies focusing on young children, their families, and the communities in which they live is advantageous. Experience in research related to Swedish preschools is also a plus.

About the position:

The position covers 10-12 months. The scope is 80%. The start date for the position is April 2026 or by agreement. Location: Uppsala.
